Capped Snap Fastener · Cap Snap Button · Metal Snaps · Cover Snap Button
Snap fasteners (also known as press studs, poppers, snaps, or tich) are mechanical fasteners that close or lock with a click or snap sound. Currently, there are two main types of snaps on the market: post-style and prong-style. Prong-style snap buttons are widely used, primarily in garments and handmade crafts. They are best suited for loosely woven or knitted fabrics.
The caps of prong-style snap fasteners offered by AB ASIABUTTON SINCE 2003 can be made from stainless steel, nickel-plated brass, or iron. Our snap fastener sets are primarily manufactured from brass, complying with various fastening and tensile strength standards under major national safety regulations. They also meet the MSDS recommendations of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSIA) and the REACH (SVHC) regulations regarding the total content limits for nickel, lead, tin, chromium, cobalt, and zinc.
We provide capped snap fasteners in various diameters, ranging from 8mm (Line 13) to 30mm (Line 48), as shown in the table below. Available in prong lengths from standard to extra-long, they accommodate different fabric layer thicknesses, meeting the requirements of most applications in garments and crafts.
